Lessons from the fraudulent professor Stapel

The Netherlands is in the aftermath of a large scale academic fraud conducted by Diederik Stapel. What are universities doing to prevent future Stapels? Are there any lessons learned? Opinion weekly De Groene Amsterdammer did an indepth article featuring several academics, including me.
