My research consists of three lines of interest, which are interrelated.

1. Girls and girl culture
To theorise how girls position themselves in the multicultural society

2. Religion and the multicultural society
To understand the role of popular culture in identity practices of religious young people

3. Research methods and methodology
To investigate how we can study media in everyday life
